We are a group of people passionate about our community, the Shotley Peninsula and obviously buying and restoring the pier. We would love you to join us. You’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome. We are ambitious. We have a plan. We get stuff done. It’s a warm, friendly, social environment. It’s quite incredible how many diverse skills and backgrounds we have in our community. It’s a gift. Our current collective skillset includes Pier engineering, construction, hospitality, marketing, events, history, governance, art, filming, photography, in-depth knowledge of Royal Mail (helpful for our Railway Pier link), outdoor spaces, conservation, restoration, fishing, boating, barges, yachting, marine and river specialists and drone-flyers. We have succeeded in buying the Pier and are now fund raising to restore the Pier and to make it as inclusive and accessible as possible. Your skills and contribution would be welcomed and appreciated.
